There are other ways to determine if that glass-like piece of stone is in fact diamond earring material. If you look through the stone and it is very sparkly, that is one good sign. If you lay the stone on a sheet of printed paper and you can make out an image through it, it is not a diamond. If the stone’s reflection points show a rainbow pattern, it is not a diamond or at the least it is of a lower quality.
